Hanna Carey

Hello, I’m Hanna Carey a senior at James Madison University. I’m a Communication major with a concentration in Public Relations and Business minor. Currently I serve as a Senator and on the communication team for my Student Government. I’ve always been interested in the way businesses operate, but my passion lies in the way organizations use communication to bridge the gap between themselves and their publics specially through social media.

 

While on the communication team I’ve been able to pursue this passion by connecting my student government to its student body through their social media accounts and the marketing campus events. With this experience and the classes I’m taking for communications and public relations I’m able to succeed my skills in and out of the classroom.
